CRIMINAL DEFENSE

  • Aggravated Assault, Attempted Aggravated Assault, Assault – Client was a bus driver that was accused of strangling a child on video. Not Guilty Verdict on All Charges.
  • Driving Under the Influence – Client was stopped at a DUI checkpoint and arrested. Dismissed by the State after presenting the Defense Package to the District Attorney’s Office.
  • Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possess, Manufacture, or Sell a Schedule I and Schedule 6 Controlled Substance – Client was pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign and their car was later searched. Dismissed by the Judge after a Preliminary Hearing and Cross-Examination on Officers showed a 4th Amendment Violation and an unconstitutional search and seizure.
  • Six (6) Violations of an Order of Protection – Dismissed by the Judge after a full trial.
  • Aggravated Burglary and Vandalism – Client was accused of breaking into a home and damaging certain property. Dismissed after hearing by the Judge.
  • Underage Consumption, Simple Possession, Public Intoxication, Possession with Intent – Client was a college student arrested on campus after a fraternity party. The University also instituted disciplinary proceedings against the client. After a thorough investigation and presenting a defense package/evidence to the University and the District Attorney’s Office, the charges were dismissed and the incident resulted in no student disciplinary or any record on the client’s transcript.
  • Felony Drug Charges – Our client was facing over a decade in prison upon conviction of felony drug charges. After declining the State’s offer and invoking the client’s right to a preliminary hearing, the charges were dismissed entirely by the judge after cross-examining multiple witnesses and shedding light on exculpatory evidence.
  • Felony Drug Charges – The charges against our client, who was a college student at the time, were ultimately dismissed.
  • Second Degree Murder – After a thorough and lengthy investigation and multiple rounds of negotiations, the charges were significantly reduced, and our client was placed on probation.
  • Aggravated Assault – Dismissed by agreement after successful negotiations.
  • Aggravated Domestic Assault – Our client was facing the possibility of significant time behind bars, not to mention a felony on their otherwise flawless record. After a preliminary hearing was held and cross-examination ensued, the court significantly reduced the charges to misdemeanor false imprisonment.
  • Driving Under the Influence – The case was dismissed by agreement after a thorough investigation and the presentation of proof that potentially exculpatory evidence had been lost by the State.
