This accomplishment followed previous educational pursuits at the University of Tennessee, where he graduated in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in history. Lance also became a licensed Real Estate Affiliate after his first year of law school in 2011.

In addition to being an active member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Knoxville Bar Association, Lance has been recognized for his legal excellence both nationally and locally. He was named to The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 List in the criminal defense division and in the organization's Top 40 Under 40 List for Civil Plaintiff Lawyers.
